Security & Trust

Start in a quiet training location that has no obstacles or potential source of danger.

Place the balance pads on a surface that is as dry and level as possible. Check quickly whether the pads are stable and secure so that they do not slip during training.

Introduce your horse to the balance pads carefully. Let the horse get to know the pads first.

Central placement of the hoof

Use the centrally printed logo as a guide to guide the hoof slowly and precisely to the center of the pad .

VERY IMPORTANT! Do not let your horse put the hoof down until it hits the middle so that the pressure is evenly distributed across the pad.

If your horse tries to put its hoof down on the edge of the pad, try not to let it put any weight on that spot, but start again. It may take some time for your horse to internalize the correct way to put it down as a routine.

No.3

Bringing the horse into balance

Now you can let your horse stay on the balance pad. If this form of training is new to you, start with just one hoof and a few minutes of training per day .

Once you are more experienced, you can gradually increase the training time and add one more balance pad after the other.

Always pay attention to your horse's reactions. You will quickly be able to tell what kind of balance exercises your horse prefers or how long it wants to train.

It can take some time for your horse to get used to the training. So be patient with your horse - the journey is the reward.
